Aged in oak barrels, revives the traditional aging method used in Chablis before the spread of stainless steel vats, which have been the rule for fifty years.
Expect woody notes, grilled and vanilla aromas.
With age, it will look more and more like its famous southern Burgundy cousins.
A complex and generous wine. Mineral and floral, very representative of the Chablis terroir, its fatty side combined with good acidity on the finish opens up many combinations. It can be drunk relatively young or aged for another 3 to 4 years appreciated.
Made from the oldest vines of the Domaine, bears the name of Cuvée 1902, in reference to the year of creation of the Chablis wine register, which already features this natural treasure. This so-called “franc de pied” vine, that is to say not grafted, was planted in the 19th century!
