Domaine de Pouilly | Solutré-Pouilly, Mâconnais

Located in the town of Solutré-Pouilly at the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the ‘know-how’ of Domaine de Pouilly has been passed from generation to generation, most recently André sharing his knowledge with sons Pierre-Antoine and Vincent who now take care of the wine business. 

Being independent winegrowers, Pierre-Antoine and Vincent personally take care of the work in the vineyard, the work in the cellar, the bottling and the marketing of their wines.

They work their know-how between tradition and modernity with the desire to make quality wines and share pleasure with those who taste them. 

Pouilly-Fuisse is located in the Mâconnais vineyard, in the south of Burgundy. It covers the municipalities of Vergisson, Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé and Chaintré. ​ The vines are on hillsides offering them the ideal exposure for great wines. ​ They have approximately thirty plots making it possible to offer blended cuvées as well as plot cuvées.

 The clay-limestone soils gives grapes and wines with a lot of character with nuances linked to the terroirs and the vintages. Soils are from limestone with marl bank, exposure to the South-South-East.

On average, Domaine de Pouilly vines are approximately 50 years old. Their wines are crafted from the grapes of sustainable agriculture and cultivation of the land, which respects the soil and the vines as much as possible.
