The Domaine des Chaumes have been winegrowers from father to son for several generations.
Romain and Celine Poullet are now continuing in the family footsteps as the new harvesting winegrowers of the domain. Their wine estate near Chablis (Maligny) operates more thtook over the family business and are now continuing in thean 11 hectares of vines, respecting the soils that make up the richness of the region
With Romain and Celine in front of their cellar door...
Wines produced at the estate are from the Chardonnay grape variety.
The calcareous soil of the valley, dotted with marine fossils, gives this unique aromatic taste to the wines produced in the region. The location, exposure and nature of these soils are the three criteria that will determine the appellation of the wine: petit chablis, chablis, chablis premier cru and chablis grand cru.
